Private Equity Findings Issue 20

Bella Private Markets collaborated with the Coller Research Institute to produce the milestone twentieth issue of Private Equity Findings, a publication that curates the most important cutting-edge academic research on private equity and brings together leading practitioners to discuss its implications. For this special issue, PE Findings spoke to Josh Lerner, Steven Kaplan, and Antoinette Schoar, revisiting topics they first discussed 15 years ago. Bella’s Chief Operating Officer, Alex Billias, is also featured in the publication and discusses the new cash flow forecasting model outlined in the recently published paper, “Takahashi-Alexander Revisited: Modelling Private Equity Portfolio Outcomes Using Historical Simulations.”

This issue of PE Findings also explores general partner stake sales, recent studies on the use of artificial intelligence in private equity, and the impact of side letters in negotiations.
